Graduate Education

Graduate study is closely tied to our research programs. Through immersion in research, our students acquire both broad training in their discipline and special expertise in their area of focus.

Our graduate faculty include many nationally and internationally recognized scientists, and the high ratio of faculty to students promotes individualized guidance and interaction. Our students also have access to our state-of-the-art laboratory and field facilities.

Graduate Research Assistantship support is available on a competitive basis. Contact the Director of Graduate Studies in your program of interest to inquire about the availability of, and the requirements for, assistantship support.

To obtain graduate catalogs, application materials and more information, contact The Graduate School.

Fellowships are also an option. A fellowship is a short term, paid opportunity that provides financial support for students to use for a variety of activities, including academic study, research and/or professional development.

Cost of Attendance: The total estimated expense to attend UK, including tuition, fees, housing, meals, books, supplies, transportation, and personal expenses.
