Thanks to you, the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment has one of the largest scholarship programs at UK. And we are in the process of building more spacious teaching environments, high-tech research labs and meaningful community engagement facilities to serve the Commonwealth like never before. Your generosity keeps our college moving forward.

The generosity of our donors and alumni can be felt throughout our college—in scholarship dollars, innovative discoveries, community programs and state-of-the-art facilities. And while successes may be counted today, we know so many gifts are the catalysts that create remarkable opportunities for our students and our state in the future. Your generosity can last a lifetime.

Making a Difference

Scholarship supports agriculture education

The Charles H. Futrell Endowed Scholarship, a gift from Tim Futrell of Cadiz, Kentucky, will provide annual support to students from Trigg and/or Clinton counties who want to pursue agriculture education at the Martin-Gatton CAFE.

Gatton's historic $100M gift catapults UK CAFE

Continuing a “legacy like no other,” late UK alum and former trustee Carol Martin “Bill” Gatton bestowed a gift of $100 million to the UK CAFE through The Bill Gatton Foundation, the latest in a series of donations that have transformed UK.

Charitable gift boosts agriculture awareness

Late UK professor Russell Brannon's wife Janice memorialized him through a non-endowed research fund to support equine safety and horse welfare research and an endowment to provide resources to the Department of Agricultural Economics.
