The Arboretum
Join Quinn Towery from the Office of Kentucky Nature Preserves on a tour of both the Arboretum and the state! On this two-mile walk around the Arboretum, Quinn will showcase the different ecoregions of Kentucky, giving you information on how each ecoregion was formed, the best nature preserves to visit within each ecoregion, and which tree species you would be able to find at each preserve. Make sure to bring good walking shoes, water, and your curiosity on this voyage through the state!
This event is part of Lexington Tree Week. To sign up, email us at arboretum@uky.edu or call us at 859-257-6955.
