Professional Profile

I spent 17 years teaching in private schools and hold ACE accreditation. Throughout my career, I have taught preschool, kindergarten, and art to students from pre-K through 11th grade. I also worked with Berea College’s Partners for Education program, where I had the unique opportunity to teach on a traveling bus that visited rural areas of Kentucky. In that role, I helped children build kindergarten readiness skills while my partner worked with parents to set family goals.

Each of my previous experiences has shaped and guided my work today. My background in teaching continues to influence my leadership style, lesson planning, and approach to education. I believe every role I’ve held has contributed to the art instructor I am now.
