Flexible, Personalized Pathways to Your Degree

The Agriculture Individualized Curriculum (AICU) program is a four-year Bachelor of Science in Agriculture degree for students who have earned at least 60 credit hours and need added flexibility to complete their degree.

The AICU program offers a flexible, fully online pathway for students to complete their degree on their own terms. Designed with returning students and working professionals in mind, this program allows learners to tailor their coursework to match their career goals and prior academic experiences. Whether you’re interested in agribusiness, environmental science, food systems, or other agricultural fields, this customizable degree empowers you to create a curriculum that fits your unique interests and schedule, without starting over.

A key benefit of the program is its focus on accessibility and completion. Students who previously paused their education can pick up where they left off and graduate from a respected, land-grant university without relocating. With personalized academic advising and a wide range of course options, the AICU program supports each student’s individual path to graduation while preparing them for diverse roles in today’s workforce.

The Agriculture degree will prepare you for opportunities in a wide variety of agricultural science fields in industry, academics, and government, such as:

  • Agribusiness manager
  • Agricultural sales representative
  • Conservation specialist
  • Educator
  • Entrepreneur
  • Extension agent
  • Farm credit or loan officer
