Youth Art Contest

We invite youth across Kentucky to participate in this year’s creative art contest.

Young artists are encouraged to think creatively about how agriculture shows up in their daily lives and communities, then draw and color in their provided county outline. Each county Extension office will select one winning entry to be featured in a special display at the 2026 Kentucky State Fair.

How to participate

Thank you for participating in this year’s youth art contest!

  1. Create your artwork
Fill your county outline with drawings that show how agriculture is present in your community. Use color, creativity and imagination to bring your county to life.
  2. Submit your entry
Return completed artwork by scanning and emailing or dropping off your coloring sheet to your local Cooperative Extension office or scanning and emailing it to your Extension agent. Submit your entry by June 1, 2026.

We can’t wait to see how you showcase that agriculture is everywhere!
