2026 Design Career Fair

Every year, the Department of Landscape Architecture collaborates with the College of Design to host the University of Kentucky Design Career Fair. 

The annual Design Career Fair introduces students to the design careers they might pursue and provides direct contact between hiring firms and students ready to enter employment (be it full-time or internship). 

At the fair, students encounter a range of professional opportunities: small, single-discipline firms, larger interdisciplinary ones, and everything in between; public and private sector; firms from right here in Lexington, KY, as well as firms from across the country. To maximize opportunities with hiring employers, third- and fourth-year students are encouraged to upload their portfolios in an electronic folder shared in advance with attending companies. There are also breakout rooms nearby for scheduled and on-the-spot interviews.
