In the MS in BAE degree program, you’ll tackle real-world agricultural and environmental challenges through advanced coursework, hands-on learning, and cutting-edge research. By integrating engineering and biological sciences, you’ll design innovative systems and technologies that promote sustainability and improve human, animal, and environmental health.
Choose a path that fits your goals: a research-oriented thesis option (Plan A) or a design-oriented non-thesis option (Plan B). Both options require 30 credit hours, with Plan A students eligible to count six credit hours of research residency towards that total. While a bachelor’s degree from an accredited engineering program is expected, applicants with equivalent degrees may be admitted conditionally.
As an MS student, you’ll collaborate across disciplines, engage in impactful research, and connect with industry partners, preparing you to lead in a wide range of engineering careers or continue your academic journey towards a PhD or other advanced degrees.
